Job Description
The Kit Design Specialist is responsible for creating Bill of Materials for kit construction, communicating with teams to ensure work instructions are complete, and maintaining version control on BOM modifications and amendments. The position requires a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university (preferred) or equivalent work experience, with knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Requirements

  • Creating and Maintaining new Item Cards and Bill of Materials
  • Ensuring item card is properly mapped to budget planning line items
  • Communicating with Clinical Trial Materials to ensure work instructions are complete and thorough
  • Maintaining version control on all BOM modifications and amendments
  • Working with inventory team to standardize SKU’s on BOM’s
  • Communicating with Supply team, Logistics and Project Management to ensure correct materials are used for international shipments
  • Executing corporate pricing strategy and submitting pricing for approval
  • Submitting approved pricing to project management for sponsor approval
  • Properly filing and maintaining pricing calculations for future review
  • Attending Project Management study kick off and handoff meetings
  • Supporting adhoc requests from other department: Finance, BOS, Contracts
  • Performing various reporting as needed
