Role OverviewSupports and/or leads hot forming, new tool build, engineering changes, and provides input regarding feasibility of tool/part/equipment changes. Validates changes in tool cost, equipment cost, engineering change cost, and piece-price.
What You Will Do
Reviews tool/equipment quality, part/assembly quality, tool/assembly process capability, and works with Quality and Einfuehrung to decide when tools are ready for series production. Participates in process review trials, prepares and presents information for tool and/or product reviews, and procures from and exchanges information with Quality, Einfuehrung, Development Hub, suppliers, and other related persons or departments.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Other Engineering or in a related area, and/or the equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of three (3) years' of relevant professional experience in the following area(s): Engineering function within a manufacturing setting with strong emphasis on hot forming and project management.

- Flexibility to support MBUSI needs and demands
- Knowledge in CAD systems: Siemens NX, SMARAGD
- Knowledge in PC applications: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work on weekends and/or holidays in certain cases
