Job Description
As a Lab Assistant - Core Lab, you will work in a supportive and collaborative environment, using advanced technology to make a positive impact on patient care. You will perform pre-analytical and post-analytical tasks, interact with patients and healthcare professionals, and promote DMC values.

Requirements

  • Prioritize incoming specimens and process patient specimens according to department safety and OSHA guidelines
  • Draw blood samples from patients based on physicians orders and in accordance with departmental safety and OSHA guidelines
  • Generate and attach labels to specimen/blood samples and perform specimen processing and aliquoting according to pre-established test requirements
