Job Description
As a Lab Assistant - Core Laboratory, you will work with advanced technology in a supportive and collaborative environment, prioritizing patient care and contributing to a healthcare community making a positive impact.

Requirements

  • Prioritize incoming specimens and process patient specimens in accordance with department safety and OSHA guidelines
  • Draw blood samples from patients based on physician's order and in accordance with departmental safety and OSHA guidelines
  • Generate and attach labels to specimen/blood samples, perform specimen processing and aliquoting according to pre-established test requirements
  • Ensure specimen integrity and verify patient identification
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures and/or answer routine questions
