Requirements

  • Prioritizes incoming specimens
  • Generates and attaches labels to specimen/blood samples
  • Ensures specimen integrity
  • Communicates with patients
  • Maintains a neat and clean work area
  • Performs transportation duties
  • Conducts routine inspection, maintenance and quality control checks
  • Prepares the patient for and/or administers tolerance tests
  • Performs clerical duties
  • Self-monitors work behavior and performance
