Requirements

  • Prioritize incoming specimens
  • Process patient specimens in accordance with department safety and OSHA guidelines
  • Draw blood samples from patients based on physicians' orders
  • Accurately enter and review laboratory test data in the laboratory computer system
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area
