Job Description
The Laboratory Processing Technician II is responsible for the performance of EKGs, collection of specimens, and preparation of all specimen types. Assists with patient registration, laboratory report distribution, and other clerical duties. Mans and troubleshoots the pre-analytical automation as assigned. Provides training and/or orientation for internal employees and external customers.

Requirements

  • Four year high school graduate or GED equivalent with phlebotomy or Medical Assistant Training
  • Successful completion of Acts 73 and/or 169 clearances within 90 days of commencing employment
  • A.S.C.P. certification in phlebotomy (preferred)
