Role OverviewPeraton is seeking an experienced Lab Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain infrastructure supporting malware analysis and reverse-engineering environments. The role involves collaborating with malware analysts and reverse engineers to implement specific topologies and virtual sandboxes, ensuring total network containment and rapid environment resets.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include designing and building underlying infrastructure solutions, administering and optimizing the virtualization layer, deploying and maintaining hyperconverged infrastructure, provisioning and managing storage, configuring and maintaining network segmentation and isolation, implementing and managing firewalls, and maintaining infrastructure visibility and performance metrics.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in architectural design, network device support, virtualization, hardware and storage management, networking and firewalls, systems administration, and orchestration and data collection. U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret security clearance are required.
Requirements

- MA/MS degree with 6 years experience
- 3 years with PhD
