Job Description
The Lab Technician performs laboratory tests to determine chemical and physical qualities for quality control purposes and sets up, adjusts and operates laboratory equipment and instruments. Tests materials for presence and content of elements or substances, records test results, and cleans and sterilizes laboratory equipment.
Requirements
One to three months experience or related experience and/or training
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals
