Label Compliance Analyst

The Label Compliance Analyst supports Purchasing with regulatory support, responsible for regulatory compliance for US Food & Drug Administration (FDA), US Department of Agriculture (USDA) regulated private label food and consumer goods. The role oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements. The analyst assists with the development of training materials, ensures regulatory compliance of products, labels, advertising, and promotions, and provides regulatory guidance to purchasing teams.

What You Will Do

Essential Functions include data entry and data management, development of training materials, regulatory compliance of products and labels, and provision of regulatory guidance to purchasing teams. The analyst also reviews packaging for compliance with relevant regulations, reviews advertising and promotional materials for technical accuracy and compliance, and tracks product lifecycle milestones.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate has excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and proficiency in Google Workspace tools or related software. Prior experience in regulatory, nutrition or quality role with food or consumer goods is strongly preferred.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Food Technology or related field
• 1-3 years of experience in a related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in Google Workspace tools or related software
• Ability to work independently
