Role Overview

Join a leading global law firm's Labor & Employment practice in Pittsburgh as a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney. This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate with 3–5 years of experience in employment litigation and/or complex commercial litigation. You will take meaningful ownership of litigation matters, serving as a point person for cases, managing multiple matters simultaneously, supervising junior attorneys and staff, and communicating directly with clients.

What You Will Do

Represent employers in employment and complex commercial litigation matters, handle single-plaintiff employment litigation, assist with wage-and-hour class actions, and manage multiple litigation matters.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an accredited law school
  • 3–5 years of experience in employment litigation and/or complex commercial litigation
  • Experience handling single-plaintiff employment matters
  • Wage-and-hour class action experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with Federal Court Rules and e-discovery
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
  • Experience serving as the point person on litigation matters and taking ownership of cases
  • Experience supervising junior associates and legal staff
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical abilities
  • Strong client communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deposition and/or courtroom experience is preferred
  • Employment advice and counseling experience is preferred
