Role Overview

As a Labor Planning & Analytics Consultant, you'll play a key role in shaping Southwest's labor negotiation strategy by turning complex data into clear, actionable insights. You'll analyze labor contracts, benchmark industry pay scales, and assess competitive practices across airlines to inform negotiation proposals and long-term labor planning. Partnering closely with Labor Relations and cross-functional Teams, you'll build analytical models, evaluate cost impacts, and synthesize findings into compelling presentations that support decision-making at all levels of Leadership.

What You Will Do

Complete analysis related to labor contracts and their corresponding costs, ensure accurate results of analysis performed, perform analysis related to industry and competitive research, labor contract benchmarking, and contract and compensation comparisons, synthesize and communicate cogent insights from analysis performed, and develop and deliver structured presentations that inform and influence audiences using insights and illustrations derived from analysis.
