Role OverviewThe Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction is looking for a dedicated security-minded professional to assume the responsibilities of a Labor Relations Officer 2 in the Operation Support Center/Division of Parole and Community Services, Franklin County. The role serves as the point of contact for all labor relations matters and activities for the Division of Parole & Community Services. The Labor Relations Officer 2 identifies existing and potential labor relations problems, reviews and/or develops operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all bargaining unit contracts, and makes recommendations for resolution by advising and consulting with management personnel.
What You Will Do
The Labor Relations Officer 2 will serve as the point of contact for all labor relations matters and activities, identify existing and potential labor relations problems, review and/or develop operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with all bargaining unit contracts, and make recommendations for resolution by advising and consulting with management personnel. The role will also supervise staff assigned to Labor Relations, act as Appointing Authority's designee in managing employee grievances, and maintain records of all grievances in Salesforce.
