Job Description
We are seeking a Laboratory Research Technician or Specialist to work in the laboratory of Dr. Deepak Nijhawan, Professor, Vice Chair of Research and Chief of Molecular Medicine in the Department of Radiation Oncology. The research program involves understanding the mechanism of action for small molecules with interesting biologic activity, identifying their molecular targets, and exploring the therapeutic potential of novel compounds.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with major coursework in the field of assignment and no experience
  • Highly organized and proactive individual
  • Strong initiative to problem solve and troubleshoot experimental or technical issues
  • Attention to detail and ability to keep careful records of experiments and results
  • Strong organizational skills, prioritization skills, and time management skills
