Role OverviewPerforms waived, moderate or high complexity laboratory tests for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment of disease. Maintains laboratory equipment, runs and evaluates quality control testing, and assists with waived point of care testing.
What You Will Do
Operates laboratory equipment, interfaces and instruments, performs and documents basic maintenance procedures. Performs routine logging for QC/QA purposes, collects and compiles QA data, and monitors QC for trends.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in biological, chemical science, or medical laboratory technology
- Associate's degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology with 60 semester hours of science courses
- Direct clinical laboratory experience
- ASCP or AMT certification as a BB, C, CG, H, M, MB, MLT, MLS, SBB, SC, SCYM, SH, SM, or SMB
- Immunization requirements: Hepatitis B, tuberculosis, rubella, rubeola, and varicella
