Role OverviewThe Laboratory Supervisor of Blood Bank will oversee the daily operations of the laboratory, ensuring efficient use of employees and equipment to meet established turnaround time and material utilization within budgetary constraints. The supervisor will provide direct on-site analysis of the day-to-day operation, adjusting specimen workflow, test performance, quality, compliance, and associated documentation to adhere to regulatory agencies, company policies, and procedures.
What You Will Do
The Laboratory Supervisor of Blood Bank will be responsible for procuring supplies and equipment, providing technical oversight, troubleshooting and recommending process improvements, communicating with employees, and ensuring compliance with department and company policies and procedures.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in medical technology, biology, chemistry, or related science
- Licensure: State, NCA, or ASCP preferred
- 1-2 years generalist experience; supervisory or lead tech experience preferred
