Role Overview

The Laboratory Technician I is responsible for receiving sufficient authority from, and being accountable to the Laboratory Supervisor or appointed designate for the successful completion of assigned duties and responsibilities. The role involves identifying the occurrence of departures from the quality system or from the procedures for performing tests and/or calibrations, and taking action necessary to carry out the duties and responsibilities of this position.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Laboratory Technician I include reading, understanding, and following management system requirements, adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations, registering incoming samples, maintaining a neat and accurate record system, entering sample data into the Eurofins eLIMS system, completing laboratory testing, verifying results, and submitting results to the appropriate personnel.
