What You Will Do
Constructs, repairs, and replaces sidewalks, curbs, curb ramps, concrete pavement, and other public infrastructure. Operates concrete, paving, and other heavy equipment. Assists with asphalt paving operations and roadway maintenance.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with the ability to be insured to operate City vehicles
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of employment
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and maintain balance
- Ability to work safely around traffic, heavy equipment, and construction activities
- Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and the public
- Ability to prioritize work and perform multiple assignments in changing weather conditions
