Job Description
The Ohio Expo Center is seeking a Laborer to work second shift, cleaning and maintaining grounds and buildings, assisting with events, and performing various duties. The position requires a valid driver's license and is contingent upon a background check.

Requirements

  • Clean and maintain grounds and various buildings at the Ohio Expo Center
  • Assist landscape crew as seasonal needs arise
  • Repair and erect snow fences
  • Remove snow and ice and spread salt on walks and roadways
  • Sweep, mop and wax floors, wash walls & windows, maintain and supply restrooms and perform other cleaning duties
  • Assist in the set-up, clean-up and removal of events
  • Assist in set-up of chairs, tables, platforms, speaker tables, stages and any other materials requested by event coordinators
  • Set-up, remove and clean various animal pens and stalls
  • Respond to needs of event coordinator or maintenance worker assigned as program attendant
