Role OverviewThis is an entry-level position for a reliable person who wants to help with daily tasks and learn essential skills to start a career in the construction industry. The position focuses on helping the crew to complete daily tasks using a variety of techniques and equipment.
What You Will Do
Examples of daily tasks include maintaining and operating pneumatic and electric tools, lifting, transporting, and holding construction materials, and mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete, asphalt, and other materials.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate should be able to use essential tools, work on their feet all day, and be willing to complete OSHA 10 and Fall Protection Certification training.
Requirements
- Must be able to work on their feet for a full day
- Must be willing to complete OSHA 10 (provided by Garney)
- Must be willing to complete the 'Fall Protection Certification' (provided by Garney)
- Must be willing to work overtime
