Job Description
Amsted Graphite Materials is seeking a Laborer Production to join their team. As a Laborer Production, you will be responsible for backfilling jobs and providing coverage in other areas as assigned to meet production goals and scheduling requirements. You will operate industrial machines and machinery, load trucks and containers with finished product, and prepare and package finished product for shipment.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Must be willing and able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to perform manual labor
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work in a team environment.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, and operating procedures
  • Reasoning skills to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Ability to work a rotating shift as assigned including daily and weekly overtime requirements
