Role OverviewAs a Laborer on our Telecom Underground team, you'll participate in all phases of underground construction, including loading, delivery, digging, and equipment operation. You'll install underground telecommunications cabling, operate construction equipment, and maintain work areas. You'll work in all weather conditions and perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Do
Perform construction tasks, install underground telecommunications cabling, operate construction equipment, maintain work areas, complete daily production reports, and help with site restoration efforts.
Why It Might Be a Fit
To be successful in this role, you'll need to be able to clearly communicate with team members, work at heights, and safely operate various hand tools and utility trucks. You'll also need to be able to lift up to 55 pounds without assistance and work in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Previous experience safely operating various hand tools and utility trucks, is preferred
