Role OverviewThe Land & Air Defense Systems SBU Financial Planning and Analysis department has an opening on the Strategy, Investments & Long Range Planning team as the Principal Specialist (P3) for New Business Investment (NBI), Overhead, and IRAD. This unique position provides the opportunity to see the business from a top-down perspective.
What You Will Do
Partner with Requirements & Capabilities team members of all levels and coordinate with SSBUs for the successful management and execution of Raytheon NBI, ERPM funding request review and approvals, assess internal investments, and develop investment presentations for senior level management.

This role requires strong verbal communication skills, experience in MS Office Suite, Power BI, and/or Excel, and experience with Finance Business Systems: APEX, PRISM, Analysis for Office, and/or Rplan.
Requirements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience; OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years prior relevant experience
- Experience in MS Office Suite, Power BI and/or Excel
- Experience with Finance Business Systems: APEX, PRISM, Analysis for Office and/or Rplan
- Experience analyzing large amounts of data into meaningful outputs
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements
