Role OverviewThe Land Acquisitioner will acquire undeveloped land or finished lots for development, working with property owners, brokers, land developers, city officials, and others to secure land. This role requires coordinating, securing, and organizing land acquisition leads, performing title and municipal research, and negotiating purchase contracts with sellers.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Land Acquisitioner include receiving and responding to new leads, performing initial research, providing meeting with sellers, and preparing letters of intent. The role also involves maintaining relationships with land developers, brokers, and land owners, underwriting and analyzing financial aspects of development opportunities, and communicating with city officials.
