Job Description
The Land Management Technician plays a vital role in preserving the beauty, productivity, and ecological integrity of Avalon Plantation. Responsibilities include operating heavy equipment, assisting with prescribed burning operations, and supporting groundskeeping efforts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training preferred
  • Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus
  • Proficiency with ATVs and UTVs is highly desirable
  • Firearms experience is required, with the ability to handle shotguns and rifles safely and confidently
  • Prior experience with horses is essential, including the ability to ride horseback during quail hunts when needed
