Role Overview

We're seeking a Landscape Architect to join our Buildings + Places practice in Los Angeles, California. As a Landscape Architect, you'll play an active role in the design process from concept through construction, assist in preparing graphic design and technical drawings, and collaborate with project team members across disciplines. What You Will Do

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include playing an active role in the design process from concept through construction, assisting in the preparation of graphic design and technical drawings, and collaborating with project team members across disciplines. You'll work under the direction of the Supervising Landscape Architect and may independently perform technical assignments of various complexities within approved schedules and budgets.

You should have a strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office Suite, hand drawing, and 3D modeling (Rhino3D). You should also be able to integrate seamlessly into both landscape architecture and multi-disciplinary design teams.

Requirements

  • Landscape Architecture degree (BLA/BSLA/MLA) from an LAAB accredited institution and/or demonstrated equivalency of experience or education
  • Relevant professional Landscape Architecture experience
  • Actively pursuing licensure
  • LEED GA/AP, SITES AP, or ENV SP credentials
  • Familiarity with Southern California native and climate-appropriate plant communities
  • Experience preparing construction documents
  • Experience with advanced modeling and analysis software (e.g. Revit, Grasshopper3D, ArcGIS)
  • Experience with advanced visualization software and plugins (e.g. Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray)
