Role OverviewAs a Landscape Designer at HDR, you will contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well-being around the world. You will work under the direction of a registered Landscape Architect to assist in development of site design projects, from concept design to construction documentation. Your work will directly influence how individuals experience the world around them.
What You Will Do
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include working under the direction of a registered Landscape Architect, conducting site visits and analyses, assisting with illustration of design using a combination of hand-drawn and computer-rendered graphics, and providing AutoCAD production support during concept and schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of site analysis, building operation, vehicular and pedestrian traffic, site grading and storm drainage. You will also need to have strong oral and written communication skills and an ability to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel experience
- Photoshop a plus
- Ability to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage
