Role OverviewAs a Landscape Designer at HDR, you will contribute to the design and delivery of spaces and experiences that advance community well-being around the world. You will work under the direction of a registered Landscape Architect to assist in the development of site design projects, from concept design to construction documentation.
What You Will Do
Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting site visits and analyses, assisting the project Landscape Architect with illustration of design using a combination of hand-drawn and computer-rendered graphics, and providing AutoCAD production support during concept and schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.

We are looking for a candidate with a strong oral and written communication skills, ability to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage, and experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or Civil Engineering
- AutoCAD, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel experience
- Photoshop a plus
- Ability to prepare site plans and understand the principles of grading and drainage
- Strong oral and written communication skills
