Role Overview

Responsible for the direction of crew activities on job site, according to pre-established schedules, standards and procedures to provide a high quality of service, as directed by Area Manager.

What You Will Do

Perform landscape maintenance tasks, assign daily tasks to crew members, ensure compliance, and monitor sites for quality. Conduct and oversee execution of minor Enhancement projects, complete daily paperwork, and assess equipment operation issues.

Requirements

  • At least 3-5 years related work experience
  • Valid Driver License in state where employed
  • Commercial Pesticide Applicators License preferred
  • Ability to safely operate commercial landscape equipment and tools
  • Demonstrate proper pruning techniques while taking into account the plant material and season
  • Understand fertilization basics for both turf and plants
  • Working knowledge of herbicide applications and relevant practices
  • Have a general understanding of annuals installation and maintenance
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them under tight deadlines
  • Ability to motivate and lead subordinates
  • Strong commitment to high quality of work and customer service
  • Ability to read and understand maps for navigation and job planning
  • Basic understanding of smartphone apps related to work requirements
