Role OverviewA landscape spray technician is responsible for applying fertilizers and herbicides in parks, rural roadsides, and other City properties. Must have a current license with the Texas Department of Agriculture chemical applicator's license.
What You Will Do
Performs chemical and fertilizer applications, monitors landscape health, measures chemicals, operates equipment, and maintains records. Follows state guidelines and safety procedures.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a working knowledge of chemical and fertilizer applications, and a valid Texas Department of Agriculture non-commercial applicators license. Preferred qualifications include two years of experience with chemical and/or fertilizer applications.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Working knowledge of chemical and fertilizer applications to landscape areas
- Valid Texas Department of Agriculture non-commercial applicators license
- Valid driver's license
- CDL (preferred)
