Role OverviewThe Landscape Shop Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting landscaping equipment to ensure the grounds are well maintained and visually appealing. This role is crucial to ensure that all tools and equipment are in optimal working condition to support our landscape operations.
What You Will Do
All aspects of landscape maintenance, including but not limited to: performing basic care and maintenance, repairing or replacing worn parts, explaining equipment problems and repairs to staff, assisting with fleet maintenance, and upholding core values and policies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment, possess good to excellent communication skills, and be able to pass a background check. Must also be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. across short-medium distances.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- 18 years or older
- Minimum of 6 months working in related field
- Held a full time position for 6 months or more within one position
- Must work both independently and in a team environment
- Good to Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must possess a valid driver's license and have own transportation to and from the resort
