Role Overview

Language Producers are the bridge between Netflix's global content ambitions and in-market reality, ensuring high-quality, culturally resonant English localization for Netflix customers worldwide.

What You Will Do

The Language Producer is accountable for language and partner health across English-language assets, executing a tiered support model across every asset type, and collaborating with cross-functional partners on Inclusion and Diversity initiatives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5–10 years of dubbing and/or timed-text title/language management experience (creative and operations)
  • Based in Los Angeles, CA, with a willingness to travel internationally and the flexibility to work across time zones to support a globally distributed team
  • Ability to inspire trust and build teams while representing Netflix professionally to partners
  • Curiosity about innovation and the ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, including automation and AI-driven quality tooling
  • Comfort reading and questioning data and dashboards (QC/TQ metrics, partner ratings) to drive decisions
  • A strong understanding of localization workflows and pipelines, including real-time workflows, and the ability to execute titles at various points of production (development through delivery)
  • Experience navigating complex vendor relationships, including difficult conversations about quality, accountability, and automation
  • Highly analytical, able to identify root causes and propose changes to existing workflows
  • Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) English-language localization contracts, union/guild dynamics, and local market best practices
  • Native fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in another language is beneficial
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or equivalent, relevant work experience
