Role OverviewFirefly EGSE Engineers design data acquisition, control, and instrumentation systems for Firefly vehicles. They work on launch sites, creating systems for integration, test, and launch. The role requires expertise in electronic, mechanical, and fluid transport principles.
What You Will Do
Design data and control systems, create and conduct in-house testing, develop and test SCADA, HMI, and PLC systems. Obtain vendor quotations, work with teams to commission electrical systems, and manage EGSE installation.

Requirements
- Bachelors' degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, aerospace engineering, or related engineering discipline
- 3+ years of recent experience in data acquisition and control systems
- Ability to create process flow diagrams
- Familiarity with NFPA, NEC, UL, ISA, and IEC codes and electrical codes and requirements
- Proficiency in programming/configuring PLCs and HMI systems
- Working knowledge of multiple data communication technologies
- Experience identifying project constraints and implementing creative solutions
- Self-starter with service-oriented attitude
