Role OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our fantastic Laundry team! The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of commercial washers and dryers to process hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include operating and monitoring commercial washers and dryers, sorting and loading laundry, following proper chemical use and safety procedures, inspecting laundry for stains or damage, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
Why It Might Be a Fit
This role requires open availability, with shifts primarily in the mid-day and evening hours, and occasional early morning shifts. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have the ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances.
Requirements
- Must be able to read and understand basic messages, instructions, and error codes in English
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
- Ability to bend, lift, pull, and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
