Lawn Care Technician

We're looking for motivated individuals to join our team of Lawn Care Technicians. As a Lawn Care Technician, you'll be responsible for visiting multiple jobsites and interacting with customers on a daily basis. You'll ensure the proper treatment and application of fertilizers and other chemicals to control the suspected or diagnosed disease to stimulate the growth of turf and/or to prevent and control the growth of weeds on the turf of the property.

What You Will Do

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include diagnosing problems or diseases with the turf on residential and commercial properties, proposing treatment, and learning and using all equipment in an efficient and safe manner as directed by the Crew Leader.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid driver's license with an issue date of at least five years prior to the date of this application.
• Demonstrates proficiency in fundamental mathematical concepts.
• Able to comprehend and follow written communication effectively.
• An individual that is serious, sincere and cooperative.
• Able to manage specialized work efficiently, with confidence and competence.
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize workload, work under pressure and still maintain good composure.
• Experience working with routes, service stops, and meeting deadlines of your service route.
• Dependable and self-motivated with desire to work year-round.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus, but not required.
• Proficient in the use of handheld electronics, including iPhones and tablets, to efficiently perform job-related tasks.
• Adaptable to varying environmental conditions, including exposure to extreme temperatures.
