Role OverviewThe Lead - Welder Nights provides training, guidance, and direction to assigned employees in an efficient, clean, safe, and cost-effective manner to achieve the goals and key performance metrics in line with the organization's objectives.
What You Will Do
Oversee and delegate daily tasks to assigned production employees, use the company's computer system to collect labor hours and track process information, supervise employee duties to ensure Safety, Quality, and Productivity goals are being met, and assist employees in reading and interpreting blueprints.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate, read blueprints, and visually inspect shafts and hardware, with the ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time and perform physical activities that require use of fingers, hands, and arms.
Requirements
- Regular and timely attendance is required
- High School Diploma or GED Preferred
- Must learn how to effectively use the Epicor/Vantage computer system
- Must be able to read blueprints and visually inspect shafts and hardware
- Must be able to read and understand Sabre's Quality Manual and manufacturing tolerances
- Must learn how to communicate effectively; orally and in writing
