Role Overview

The Lead Access Controls Technician will be responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting access control systems, as well as conducting site surveys and coordinating with project managers and engineers.

What You Will Do

The technician will perform tasks such as installing and terminating low-voltage cabling, completing installation documentation, and performing system testing and commissioning.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience installing and servicing access control systems
  • Familiarity with industry-recognized platforms (Lenel, Software House, Genetec, Honeywell, or similar)
  • Experience with low-voltage cabling and termination practices
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English and perform basic math
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Able to lift up to 60 lbs, work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying temperatures
  • Verifiable experience and character references required
