Role OverviewWe are seeking a SQL DBA responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, performance tuning, and security of Microsoft SQL Server databases. The ideal candidate will ensure database availability, integrity, backup/recovery, and support business applications with optimal database performance.
What You Will Do
Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server databases, monitor database performance, implement tuning improvements, manage backups, restores, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions, troubleshoot database issues, and implement database security, user access, and compliance controls.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization, and experience with Always On Availability Groups, replication, and clustering.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)
- Knowledge of T-SQL, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization
- Experience with Always On Availability Groups, replication, and clustering
- Familiarity with backup/recovery strategies and disaster recovery planning
- Understanding of database security and performance monitoring tools
- Good troubleshooting and communication skills
