Role OverviewThe 92NY Flying Dolphins Swim Team is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Lead Coach and Assistant Swim Coaches to support our Age Group Program. Our coaches play an important role in developing young swimmers by providing high-quality instruction, promoting strong technique, and creating a positive and motivating team environment.
What You Will Do
Teach and reinforce proper swimming technique, assist swimmers to develop their skills, provide positive feedback, support a positive team culture, collaborate with other coaches, communicate professionally, and maintain a safe environment.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and age-group swimmers, knowledge of swimming fundamentals, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- USA Swimming Coaches certification
- Coaches Safety Training
- CPR & First Aid
- USA Swimming background check
- Previous competitive swimming and/or swim coaching experience
- Experience working with children and age-group swimmers
- Knowledge of swimming fundamentals
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and motivational skills
