Role OverviewThe Lead Animal Husbander will oversee daily care, feeding, and health monitoring of all livestock, coordinate breeding and herd management programs, and lead emergency responses involving livestock health. The role will also support strategic planning for livestock acquisitions and breeding goals, and develop educational programs related to rare breeds and 18th-century husbandry practices.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include animal care and oversight, program and support, and safety and compliance. The Lead Animal Husbander will work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and evenings, and may be subject to overtime during peak times.
