Role Overview

The Lead A&P Technician will perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and inspections as part of a small, collaborative maintenance team. The role requires hands-on maintenance experience on Hawker aircraft and adherence to FAA regulations, company procedures, and manufacturer maintenance manuals.

Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance and inspections, coordinate with management to support daily maintenance planning, and provide oversight and inspection to ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Must hold a valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
  • FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred
  • FAA FCC License preferred
  • Hands-on maintenance experience on Hawker aircraft required
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language to meet FAA regulatory requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and engineering documentation
  • Proficient in the use of standard aircraft maintenance tools, equipment, and materials
  • Physically capable of climbing ladders and stairs, working in confined spaces, performing close-tolerance work, lifting up to 40 pounds, and working at heights
  • Must be computer-literate; experience with the Corridor Maintenance Program and Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook) is preferred
  • Must hold a valid FAA A&P certificate with substantial corporate/business aviation maintenance experience
  • Ability and willingness to perform aircraft engine runs and taxi operations in accordance with company procedures (as authorized)
  • Must be eligible to participate in an FAA-mandated drug and alcohol testing program and pass applicable background screenings
