Lead AV Service Technician

As a Lead AV Service Technician, you will work directly with the local owner to help launch and grow the business. You'll lead installations, manage projects in the field, help establish installation standards, and play a key role in building our Minnesota team. This is an opportunity to help build something from the ground up.

What You Will Do

Install, configure, and service integrated AV, lighting, shades, networking, cameras, and home automation systems. Troubleshoot audio, video, networking, and control systems. Interact professionally with customers, trade partners, and contractors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 5–7 years of AV, networking, low-voltage, or technology integration experience
• Experience in several of the following: lighting, shading, networking/Wi-Fi, indoor and outdoor audio/video, home theaters, security, surveillance, and smart home automation
• Experience with Control4, Crestron, or similar smart home automation platforms preferred
• Industry certifications (CEDIA, AVIXA, manufacturer certifications, etc.) preferred
• Minnesota Power Limited Technician (PLT) license preferred. If you don't currently have your PLT, you must be willing to obtain it.
• Positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a professional work ethic
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to lead projects and mentor others
• Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills
• Must pass a drug screen and background check
• Valid Minnesota driver's license with a clean driving record
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a variety of physical environments
