Job Description
We are seeking a Lead AV Tech to join our Installation team in the Atlanta, GA area. The Lead AV Technician is the onsite leader for the installation of audio, video, and lighting integrated systems in commercial venues, houses of worship, government buildings, manufacturing environments, etc.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience installing audio, video, lighting and controls systems in a commercial environment
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve common and complex installation issues
  • Ability to completely wire a full-size rack to company standards
  • Proficient in reading and deciphering blueprints and schematics including the ability to interpret signal flow and wiring diagrams
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools
  • Skilled in soldering techniques
  • Experience with various techniques used in pulling wire and cable
  • Considerable knowledge of low voltage electronics
  • CTS certification preferred but not required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the proven ability to effectively resolve conflicts
  • Prior experience working effectively as a team leader and directing the work of others
  • Ability to quickly process information, prioritize job tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a team environment
  • Proven ability to meet high accountability and dependability standards
  • Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets the company’s insurance standards
