Job Description
Wunderlich-Malec Engineering is seeking a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to oversee technical aspects of civil and structural steel design. The position involves working closely with project management and other engineering disciplines, as well as manufacturing and testing business units. Responsibilities include design and analysis of structural systems, review and comment on structural work products, and mentorship of junior engineers.

Requirements

  • Provide civil & structural design for various projects to support clients' compliance with state and federal regulations
  • Design and analyze structural systems, including reinforced concrete, structural steel, aluminum, masonry, and cold-formed metal framing
  • Review and comment on structural work products, such as plan sets, technical memos, calculations, reports, and photos
  • Mentor and lead junior engineers and designers to produce project documents and encourage individual growth within the team
