The Lead Claims Examiner I is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling insurance claims efficiently. They must understand AmTrust’s mission, vision, and values and maintain high standards of claims handling. This role requires strong negotiation, critical thinking, and communication skills.

Requirements

  • Follows AmTrust policies and procedures in managing claims.
  • Investigates claims and coverage by making contact with involved parties.
  • Evaluates, establishes, maintains and adjusts reserves.
  • Negotiates claims and turns adverse perspectives into quick resolution.
  • Leverages critical thinking and decision-making skills.
  • Establishes relationships with internal legal counsel.
  • Communicates with internal resources to coordinate medical provider coordination.
