Lead Compliance Specialist

Beehive Industries is seeking a Lead Compliance Specialist to manage day-to-day trade compliance activities across the company. This role will help ensure that Beehive’s products, software, technology, technical data, transactions, and business relationships are handled in accordance with applicable U.S. export control and economic sanctions requirements. The successful candidate will combine hands-on export compliance experience with the judgment and communication skills needed to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, workable business guidance.

What You Will Do

Conduct export-control and sanctions reviews involving customers, end users, end uses, destinations, suppliers, products, software, technology, and technical data. Coordinate and document jurisdiction and classification determinations, including U.S. Munitions List categories, Export Control Classification Numbers, and related classification records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
• Five (5) or more years of progressively responsible experience in export controls, trade compliance, economic sanctions, or a closely related compliance field
• Practical experience applying one or more of the following regulatory frameworks: International Traffic in Arms Regulations, Export Administration Regulations, or OFAC-administered sanctions programs
• Experience conducting restricted-party screening, transaction reviews, export classification, export documentation, and export authorization activities
• Experience in the aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing industries
• Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or programs
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
