Role OverviewWe are looking for a Lead Cook to work in a structured correctional environment. The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude, strong character, and the ability to work well in a structured environment.
What You Will Do
The Lead Cook will be responsible for leading, instructing, and assisting with meal preparations, including food preparation, baking, cooking, and clean-up.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Previous food service or kitchen experience is a plus, but we can train the right person. The candidate will also need to be flexible to work weekends and holidays on a rotating basis and varying shifts (between 9:00am - 6:00pm).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work well in a structured correctional environment
- Ability to read and follow company recipes
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Clearance approval into the facility
