Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in technical writing, developer documentation, or a related role
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts in clear, concise, and well-structured written content
  • Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Lua, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or similar)
  • Experience working with documentation tooling and platforms (e.g., Markdown, static site generators, wikis, or docs-as-code workflows)
  • Strong technical comprehension, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies, APIs, and developer tools
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with experience producing tutorials, API references, or developer guides
  • Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop team members
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product Management, Developer Relations, and Community teams to gather information and ensure technical accuracy
  • Comfort working with version control systems (e.g., Git) and contributing to documentation repositories
  • A user-focused mindset, always considering the developer or creator audience when producing content
