Job Description
theta. is an SBA-Certified 8(a) & HUBZone digital integration and management firm based in Baltimore, MD, working to create a world where tech works for everybody. They specialize in creating software that enhances efficiency, security, and accessibility in government operations. They are seeking a Lead DevSecOps Engineer to make software delivery repeatable, secure, and deployable across constrained environments.
Requirements
10+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps or Site Reliability experience supporting production systems.
Strong CI/CD automation and infrastructure-as-code experience.
Experience integrating security checks and producing audit/evidence artifacts.
Monitoring/telemetry experience and familiarity with incident response.
Comfortable operating under access/change constraints.
Strong troubleshooting skills and an operational mindset.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must be able to meet any other requirements for government contracts for which they are hired (e.g., must reside in the U.S., Security Clearances).
Some experience supporting federal or defense software programs.
Familiarity with RMF/ATO “friction” and security-constrained delivery environments.
AWS and/or Azure experience; containerization and orchestration patterns.
Experience with log analytics/dashboarding (e.g., CloudWatch/Splunk).
