Role OverviewWe are seeking a Lead Direct Support Professional PRN to join our team at our program in Elk Grove, CA. The DSP will assist with direct care as well as implementation of behavior plans. We provide a level of care that enhances the health, safety, dignity and contentment of every consumer served.
What You Will Do
Assist with direct care and implementation of behavior plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Provide support in areas of personal care, communication, and social skill development.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Ideal candidate will possess 1 year of paid verifiable experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities, with a focus on behavioral services. Must be able to complete DSP 1 and DSP 2 certification within 1 year of hired date and RBT certification within 60 days of hired date.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a verifiable/High School Diploma/G.E.D.
- A valid driver's license is required
- Dual Diagnose experience preferred
- 1 year of paid verifiable experience providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities
- DSP 1 and DSP 2 certification within 1 year of hired date
- RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification within 60 days of hired date
